development has recently been quite slow, as bugfixing is a very tedious and long thing with not much visible progress to post on the website - and boy, bugfixing is no fun. additionaly, we are very busy right now in our real lives, with diplomas coming up, a lot of university stuff to finish and personal problems all piling up. and one must earn money with a job since CSiS donations do not exactly drown us in cash.
so what can you expect for the next few weeks and months. First the big news, CSiS will not be ready for christmas as we originally planned. but we are determined to finish it. once we got a little spare time on our hands, we will continue to work on the game modes. in the next update release, most of the performance-hogging logging code will be removed, so you will get a better idea of how fast the game will work once it's finished. as far as shader fallbacks and graphics settings for slower PCs go, we cannot make any promises.
now, if you are a graphics guy and like our project, we are currently in need of various 2d-images, like background space cubes, textures for planets and so on. if you ever wanted to get on the project, now would be the perfect time.
